Just a quick post to let all you DCoT’ers know that I am in the middle of being dugg and things are a bit slow. I will give you a blow by blow account of this when things get back to normal. Until then, please be patient. Thanks for your understanding.

Just a quick welcome to the newest member of my blogroll, RollerOvers Journey. Ron is working on being more tech focused but there is some very good content on the site. Check it out when you get a minute.

It looks like the nice people who write the Ubuntu Weekly Newsletter have noticed the article that I wrote, Installing Ubuntu Desktop Series. Very cool when the actual makers of a product suggest to their readers that they should go through an article I wrote!

I will be the first one to admit that I am still very new to the blogging scene. But, in the short time that I have been writing Daily Cup of Tech, I have already started to learn a few lessons. I thought that I would give you the benefit of my vast experience (Darn! What is the emoticon for “If you believe that, I’ve also got a bridge for sale!”?).

I wrote How To Be A Better Blogger not because I am a blogging master. Rather, it is a list of observations and suggestions that may help someone who is just starting out. With any luck, some blewbie (blogger+newbie=blewbie) out there will avoid some of my pitfalls.

I generally do not post stuff like that as this blog is generally about technology but one thing that I do not like is telemarketers. And not for the normal reasons of them disturbing me or calling at poor times. What bothers me is the fact that they will often ask for personal information that they simply do not need or often are not legally entitled to ask for.

So, when I ran across this audio clip of a guy getting his revenge on a telemarketer, I couldn’t resist.

I must admit that I nearly wet myself when I was listening to this!
