More and more Internet service providers (ISPs) are limiting or blocking bittorrent transfers primarily because they consume a lot of bandwidth which, in turn, costs them more money. Episode Club is designed to help alleviate the pressure on ISPs to provide extra bandwidth. Episode Club allows people who are geographically near each other to “share” their Internet bandwidth by sharing the television episodes that they have downloaded.
