| FreeNAS Humour |
If you are new to Daily Cup of Tech, it can be pretty confusing to navigate through the hundreds of pages that are on the site. So, to make things easier for you, I am putting together a number of tours that will guide you along to some of the best that Daily Cup of Tech has to offer.
Each tour is several posts long and is based on a central topic. Feel free to stop and read as long as you want anywhere along the tour and then pick up when you are finished. Or, if the page does not interest you, just continue on to the next stop in the tour.
I will be updating this page as I create new tours. You will find links to the tours and descriptions telling you what you can expect.
The Tours
Here are all of the tours that we have to date.
FreeNAS
FreeNAS is an open source network attached storage operating system. It is based on FreeBSD and allows you to turn your old computer hardware into a usable network storage device.
I have written a number of articles outlining how to install, configure, and troubleshoot this handy little open source operating system.
Humour
Everyone loves a good laugh and this tour provides just that with a bit of a technology twist. Some of the things you will run into on this tour include:
- Weird Al
- A new report on the Internet Crash of 2007
- Mystery Science Theater 3000
- A frustrated tech support person
- Symptoms of blogging addiction
- Those wacky Mac ads
- And more…
You can start the tour here.
More to Come
I plan on adding more tours as time goes on. Keep checking back here for new tours regularly.
