Daily Cup of Tech

When you start a blog or a website, you never know what type of an effect you are going to have out there. In general, I thought that I would maybe help the occasional person or two but I did not have any expectations beyond that. Apparently, I was wrong.

ScriptingLife is the latest addition to the DCoT blogroll and he even credits DCoT with introducing him to AutoIt scripting! And, like any good tech person, Dan saw the short comings of what I had presented on DCoT and took it upon himself to improve it and make it available to his readers! I’m so proud!

Anyway, good work, Dan and I look forward to following your scripting adventures.

Are those of you running the new Internet Explorer 7 as annoyed as I am with the location of the menu bar? Apparently the gang at [Geeks Are Sexy] were even more annoyed because they put together a great tutorial on how to get it back to where it belongs.

Be warned, there be registry hacking ahead!

In an excellent example of how the Internet community is supposed to work, I got an invitation for a GMail account from Steve at Steve’s BPCA Blog. After reading in my article that I did not have a GMail account, Steve decided to help me out by giving me an initiation. I am not now the proud owner of a brand new GMail address!

Also, Steve added me to his blogroll so I’ve returned the favor. I’ve also added him to the blogroll search!
