I know that, for some of you, if an application does not come with an installer and an uninstaller, you will probably not install that program on your computer. This is unfortunate, because there are a lot of really good applications out there that do not have an installer. Torpark is one of those applications.
Because this is such a good application, I have created a Torpark installer. It is my hope that this will help users to be more comfortable with installing and uninstalling Torpark.
Using the Torpark Installer
To install Torpark using the Torpark Installer, first download it from the Torpark download location. This is a 9.73 MB download so it may take some time depending upon your network connection.
Once you have downloaded the installer, double click on the TorparkSetup.exe file. This will start the installer.
The first screen will give you the basic information about the installer. Click on Next > to continue.
The next window prompts you for the installation location. The default is generally fine. Click Next > to continue.
The third screen prompts you for a start menu folder. This is the folder that you will see when you click on Start -> All Programs. The default is generally fine. Click on Next > to continue.
Next, you get an opportunity to crete a desktop or quick launch icon. Ny default, these are not selected. Once you have made your personal selection, click Next >.
The installer has now collected all of the information that it needs. It displays a brief summary of the actions that it will be executing. Click Install to begin the installation.
Please be patient while Torpark is being installed. The setup program will display the installation progress as it places the appropriate files and setting on your system. Do not click Cancel unless you do not want the installer to complete the setup.
Once all of the files have been installed, the final screen will indicate that the setup is complete. Click Finish to close the installer and automatically launch Torpark. If you do not want Torpark to launch right away, deselect the Launch Torpark option before clicking on the Finish button.
You have now completed the installation of Torpark. You can uninstall it from the Control Panel just like any other application. I hope that you find Torpark to be as useful as I do.

there are many people who might be interested in trying it out who are not comfortable with a “no install” installation. Thus, I have created a Torpark installer and a step-by-step guide for using it. The installer can be downloaded from: http://www.dailycupoftech.com/?page_id=165 Thanks for the information Tim! Also, vote his Torpark Installer story on Netscape, submitted by yours truely [IMG :)]

Hi,
This is a very cool, original and useful stuff. I had written a very small article about torpark on my blog. But I didn’t know about this installer until now. So am gonna link this one to my piece about torpark. I started blogging only recently and am a tech enthusiast. So it is good to find original stuffs like this. Thx.

Thanks for this Installer. Unfortunately, I did not see this article a few weeks ago when I installed torpark, it sure would have made it so much easier. However, I did take advantage of this great installer, I have put it in my new USB drive and will do the same in the others.
Your articles are great and quite a pleasure to read. Thanks and much luck
