Ink Is Way Too Expensive
I always knew that ink was costly but I never knew it was this expensive:

Yikes! You’re better off trying to refill that magenta cartridge with the stuff that is pumping through your veins! It will at least be cheaper and you’re always making more!

March 22nd, 2009 at 12:18 pmCould you possibly redo your 3D bar chart as a simple 2D bar chart?
The 3D look of the bars (while visually pleasing from a design perspective) makes the point you are making much harder to see.
BTW: When you get a chance, check out this book for some other ideas about effective chart use:
Tufte, Edward R. (2001) [1983]. The Visual Display of Quantitative Information (2nd ed.) . Cheshire, CT: Graphics Press. ISBN 0961392142.
Tufte is must reading for anyone who wants to convey information via charts more clearly.
