May 21st, 2008 at 8:13 am404 here too. Anyhow, I skip the hassle of Windows Update altogether and use Project Dakota’s downloadable update CD. Perfect for unattended updates and also for offline updating.

May 22nd, 2008 at 11:46 amWSUS for the office pc’s, windows updates at home but I just spent a few hours downloading autopatcher for itcrush fixes - I came across autopatcher about a week before it was pulled by Microsoft so glad to see it is back online again.

To update my computer, I have to log out and log as as my admin account, and then I use the Windows Update website. It’s too bad it can’t be “run as” or “sudo”‘d.
