February 13th, 2008 at 6:31 amTwo years ago I was working on the lenses for this product…They’re a real pain to get right! I moved on from the company before I was able to get them within spec. They’ll also be sold for military applications when they’re ready. The software & hardware combo must be quite impressive - we were just dealing with the lenses. Guess we’re stepping into the future pretty quickly these days!

February 27th, 2008 at 10:41 pmyeah they’re pretty good . . . if you have no idea what your doing under the hood! any decent mechanic rarely references or needs help on anything that they say they can do (exceptions for specialized things like transmissions and transfer cases) it’s like if you had a pair of goggles telling you how to use Google it doesn’t make sense. besides they would be rather inconvenient because once you’re underneath and turning they would limit your vision and distract you.
