August 23rd, 2007 at 9:12 amHaving done presentations before where I wanted to include YouTube videos, I always had to have a working Internet connection and use the ALT+TAB to move between the Slideshow and the Browser window. Now this method described in “YouTube Videos in PowerPoint offline” (Daily Cup of Tech) tells you how to. One of the great finds via lifehacker.

August 23rd, 2007 at 11:31 amYour video is very helpful for converting a FLV to movie file for powerpoint. (free)
However, be carful of the word “embed” in powerpoint. When you insert a movie from file in powerpoint it does not embed it. It creates a link to play it. If you move the ppt to another folder other than the movie or give it to someone else without giving them the video file the movie will not play because powerpoint no longer has the link.

August 24th, 2007 at 2:27 amAn easier way to get an mpeg file for insertion into powerpoint is with a website called Zamzar.com. It converts it for you and emails it your email address when done. Your just then left to put it into powerpoint.

Just follow these steps, and you’ll be able to show all your good videos on powerpoint presentation:1- download the youtube video with “zillatube”. Get the program from http://www.zillatube.com
2- using zillatube, convert it into mpg video format.
3- final step, a simple step, just insert(using the file menu above the powerpoint program) the mpg video into power point.
Just 3 simple steps, and you can present your powerpoint with videos without online at all.
all the best to your presentation.
