You Tell Me: What Should I Do With the Tumblog Posts?
It seems that I have struck a few nerves with the integration of the tumblog posts. Some like it. Some hate it. Many just don’t care. So, I’m going to leave it up to you, the reader. Since I am doing the blog for you, I want to make sure that you are getting what you want out of the blog.
You will find an opinion poll on the sidebar. This is going to determine what I do with the tumblog. Now is the time to share your opinion.
I’ll make a decision on this sometime later this week.
In the meantime, give the tumblog posts a fair chance. Look at some of them and see if there is something interesting and useful.

July 23rd, 2007 at 3:09 pmI find the tumblog’s distracting and annoying. I read this blog for the additional, insightful information that you guys post. There are plenty of other sites from which I can find lists of links w/ no real context. There’s no added value to the tumblog for me.

July 23rd, 2007 at 11:42 pmI like the integration, and I think you should go for the “w/ tumblog” and “w/o tumblog” feeds.
Also, is there a way you can default the “Notify me of follow up comments via e-mail” to off instead of on? I always seem to forget on the posts that EVERYONE comments on, resulting in lots of emails. If not, no big worries - I’ll just have to remember!
