Then, about this post. To automate using the iamunblocked.com service, I created a simple bookmarklet. You can test run it by copying the JavaScript code below and “running it” from your browser’s address bar. To create a bookmarklet, copy the code and then create a bookmarklet with the code in the address field. Personally I like assigning nicknames (keyboard shortcuts) to bookmarklets so they’re quick to access; for this one I used “ub”.
Here’s the code:
javascript:var mod_url=’http://iamunblocked.com/nph-proxy-1.cgi/111110A/’;var url=(confirm(’Use current URL?’))?location.href:prompt(’Give the URL you want to view’,'http://’);mod_url+=url.substring(0,url.indexOf(’://’))+’/'+url.substring(url.indexOf(’://’)+3,url.length);location.href=mod_url;
Feel free to get creative-n-tweak; it would be cool if you posted your artwork back here for everyone to use.
Thanks again,
-Janne C.

July 23rd, 2007 at 3:53 pmHopefully the last try:
WP seems to want to convert single quotes to HTML entities(#8217) (even when the quotes are in an html code block) and hence the js code I posted is useless if copied and pasted.
Also, there was a little bug in the script that i noticed: the script doesn’t handle a cancel-click on the url prompt corrently and creates a js error trying to convert null to a string.
How about you remove the current comment #1 and this comment and then edit the next comment to only have the “I Am Unblocked” link with the appropriate href.
Sorry for the hassle,
-Janne (pron. as Yanneh)

Then, about this post. To automate using the iamunblocked.com service, I created a simple bookmarklet. To create the bookmarklet for yourself, drag and drop the link below to your browser toolbar or alternatively copy the link target and create a normal bookmark pasting the link address into the address field of the bookmark.
Here’s the bookmarklet link:
(edit to href replacing single quotes)
javascript:var mod_url='http://iamunblocked.com/nph-proxy-1.cgi/111110A/';var url=(confirm('Use current URL?'))?location.href:prompt('Give the URL you want to view','http://');if(url!=null && url!='http://' && url!=''){mod_url+=url.substring(0,url.indexOf('://'))+'/'+url.substring(url.indexOf('://')+3,url.length);location.href=mod_url;}
Possible tweaking / development ideas I can think of right now include multiple level unblock prevention and validation of the user provided url using regular expressions…neither of which are very crucial features though.

July 26th, 2007 at 10:21 amthis is just a note to inform readers that this service is not affiliated with YouTube at all, although it seems to be implied. the ‘YouTube Download’ link actually points to http://www.utubedownload.info/
just a heads-up!

May 2nd, 2008 at 2:57 pmhey guys, it seems that the fight against oppressions like school and other facilities that try to block our freedom has exceeded. Everyday new proxies are created and on that same day they are blocked, does anybody know a good proxy site??
