It’s looking like people are still interested in getting more information about what I learned during my recent server failure. So, I will continue to write about what happened on that horrible week.
But, one thing that I did discover is that it isn’t the fact that I was writing about the server failure. It was that I was writing only about the server failure. Because of this, I am going to stagger the rest of my server failure lessons among some posts about things not related to the server failure. This way, those who are still interested in the server lessons will be able to still read about them. And, those who are tired of the server lessons will not have to wait for the entire series to complete before getting something that they are interested in.
Hopefully, this way we can all get a bit of what we want.
If you found this post useful, why don't you buy me a cup of coffee to show your gratitude?

Keep up the good posts - I find most all of them have some amount of worthwhile nuggets of knowledge.

I have little understanding about servers but my small office network was hosed by malware. I lost thousands of dollars and time trying to put Humpty Dumpty back together. A hard and expensive lesson to learn. Backup, backup, backup
Thanks for sharing your experiences.
