Your Support is Appreciated!
Once again, Daily Cup of Tech readers has stepped up to the plate and helped keep this blog rolling. Thanks for all of the continued support that you are showering upon DCoT in several different ways.
There are three special groups that I want to highlight this week.
Hosters
The first is AlwaysWebHosting. I had a couple of requests this week to make my running of DCoT easier. I barely had time to check my e-mail after submitting the requests via their web support page and they had it complete!
I have been totally impressed by AlwaysWebHosting! I have to admit that I was skeptical when I first decided to move to their service but it appears that my concerns were unfounded. The only real problem that I am having is that there are about 20 different things listed in their Fantastico instant install system that I would love to implement on DCoT but I’m not sure that I would be able to maintain! Just check out the Fantastico demo and you will see what I mean!
As always, I suggest that you check them out if you are looking for hosting. Also, make sure that you go to AlwaysWebHosting from DCoT to get the Daily Cup of Tech special discount rate!
Thanks again, AlwaysWebHosting!
Donators
Secondly, I want to say “THANKS!” to everyone who donated to Daily Cup of Tech this week. Here are the latest people to get their name in for the BlackBerry draw at the end of the month:
- Twinology
- Matt D.
- Lance P.
- John M.
Good luck in the BlackBerry draw and thanks for being willing to give to DCoT when, really, you did not have to! Extra karma points for you guys!
Writers
I also want to thank all of you who take an active part in making Daily Cup of Tech what it is.
My contributing writers Adam Bonner, Decoy Flyer, Stuart Burt, Larry Keyes, Rob Dunn, and Raymond Hicks for helping to take the load off during heavy times. Each one is responsible for some really great writing!
Other bloggers for all of the posts and links that you make about and to Daily Cup of Tech. These do not go unnoticed and they help to spread the word about what DCoT is doing.
To everyone who takes the time out of their busy day to comment on the posts you read in Daily Cup of Tech. I like to think that we are building a community of people at DCoT and it is through interaction with others, not just me, that we can accomplish this. Technology is a very small part of being a good technical person. The most important aspect is relationship.

June 18th, 2007 at 7:19 amI tried to send an email to info@dailycupoftech.com but kept getting an error. I dont know if it was on my end your yours but I honestly didn’t try much.
Just wanted to say thanks. I read your blog all the time. Just like pretty much everyone else I’m a huge fan of the USB series. I’m an IT for a company in Indianapolis and my co-workers are constantly amazed by my handy USB that always seems to have just the tool that will save you hours of work. It has been a life saver.
Thanks again!
