June 14th, 2007 at 12:59 pmThis is a much more serious thing in the US, in my state at least, none of the restaurants (that I have been to) have a portable card reader, so every waitress/waiter has a moment of personal time with your card. I am interested in what kind of signal that thing sends though, wonder if it could be hijacked and from how far… btw she isn’t fake, says she actually took up a part time job there, didn’t think scam artists ever worked, but I guess they sometimes have to.
