They don’t explain WHY this method worked (it requires changing windows default behavior and permitting computer-to-computer connections).
I agree wireless connections are EXTREMELY risky, you must have some knowledge to be sure. So lets properly educate people, rather than these blanket scare tactics.
Show them HOW this can happen, and why it works the way it does, and what you should ALWAYS be doing to prevent this sort of thing.

I will be the first person who will jump on the media about using “creating” a story through fear. But, I do not believe that is what they are doing here.
I think that they are trying to take a very technical issue and make it understandable by non-technical people. I agree that they could have put more emphasis on the solution, not just the problem but the solution would probably have been over the heads of the majority of the audience.
