Some might be wondering why these people donated money to Daily Cup of Tech when everything is available online for the taking? I think the reason is much the same as why people give or volunteer to any organization; they believe the organization is doing a good work, often a work that they themselves can’t do, and they would like to show their appreciation to the organization.

It is surprising how motivating it is when I get an alert indicating that someone has decided to donate to DCoT. Every little but is appreciated!
