Push for HelpI know for a fact that there are a lot of different tech support problems you are dealing with on a daily basis. And it can be really tough to figure some of these things out. So, I would like to offer my services, so to speak.

This is your opportunity to submit your tech support questions to me so that I know what you would like me to post about. You can simply put your tech support questions in the comments or you can fire me an e-mail at techsupport@dailycupoftech.com.

Now, just a few comments about this new “service” that I will be providing:

  1. Since I am doing this as a free service, do not expect any serious turnaround times. I will get to your requests as I get to them.
  2. The wider the audience that can benefit from answering this tech support question, the greater the chance that it will be answered and the sooner it will be answered.
  3. All answered will be posted on DCoT. If you want answers to questions but want to keep the answers to yourself, then contact me at my regular e-mail address and we can talk about payment schedules and timelines.
  4. I have a lot of experience in various technology areas but no one can know everything. I know for a fact that I will be stumped from time to time and it may be in an area that I have no interest. There is a very good chance that I will not be answering these questions.
  5. “Building block” questions will usually be answered more quickly (and easily) than all encompassing questions. For example, “How do I add a new user to Vista?” will be answered more quickly than “How do I build a non-heterogeneous network that spans 45 cities over 27 states?”

Beyond these basic parameters, the sky is the limit. I really look forward to some of the questions that you, the readers, come up with!

If you found this post useful, why don't you buy me a cup of coffee to show your gratitude?
