Testing Bad Behavior
Thanks to everyone who provide me with some good insight into fighting spam on DCoT. I have decided to return the commenting policy to its original settings. So, you no longer need to be logged in to comment on any post but it is still recommended that you do because it will provide you with a quicker way of putting your information into the comment forms.
I have decided to let Akismet work in conjunction with Bad Behavior to see if they can keep the spam out of the system while keeping the CPU usage down to a minimum.
So, comment away!
If you found this post useful, why don't you buy me a cup of coffee to show your gratitude?

Just a heads up, with the release of WordPress 2.1 today also came a new 2.0 version of Akismet which has a ton of enhancements.
