Contest Voting Continues…
People are expressing their opinions on the contest voting page. As of the time of writing, we had 70 votes.
I have to admit that the voting results so far are a lot different than I thought they would be. Some of the systems that I thought would get a lot of votes have not received any! Just goes to show that sometimes I really do not have a clue about things!
The top five entries so far are:
- PC Repair System - 24 votes (34%)
- Remote Access System - 7 votes (10%)
- Must Have Utilities System - 6 votes (9%)
- Web Server System - 5 votes (7%)
- Bootable DOS System - 5 votes (7%)
It is looking like we may have a bit of a runaway for first place (but the week is still young) but things are tight for the other three spots (there are only two votes separating 2nd and 4th place).
If you haven’t had a chance to vote, there’s still time. Voting continues until Friday!
If you found this post useful, why don't you buy me a cup of coffee to show your gratitude?

Question for you, a few of my friends have voted for me on my cd buring drive but I see no votes on it. I was over a friends place and watched him vote and nothing, just wondering is there a problem? Thanks again -

December 12th, 2006 at 3:39 pmI took a look and everything appears to be working OK. The only thing that I can think of is that the caching system is causing some issues. I have disabled caching on the system for that page in hopes that it will generate the correct information.
Also, please note that the voting system tracks both user and IP address when voting. So if you have three friends who want to vote for your system, then they have to vote from separate computers or from different IP addresses. I know that this is a pain but if this was not implemented, people would abuse the system and just continually vote for one item.
