I try to rebuild my computer system about once a year (usually over Christmas holidays). There are a number of applications that you just need to have on your system but it is such a pain to reinstall them all the time. This is where InstallPad comes to the rescue.

InstallPad allows you to keep a list of all your “must have” applications in an XML file. Then, you can automatically download and install, sometimes silently, all the programs!

This is a very cool tool. In fact, I’m going to start publishing InstallPad application lists for a lot of my projects!

If you are looking for some good InstallPad application lists, check out the Lifehacker article.

If you find this to be a cool application and have some good application lists, please feel free to submit links to them in the comments!
