Digg and RIP Reader Polls
I am usually writing you with some information about an article I have added to the blog or some new feature that I have added to the website. But, alas, today I am the bearer of bad news.
Since there was a very low user response to the reader polls, I have decided to stop with them for the time being. This does not mean that I will never bring them back but I think I am going to wait for a bit.
The one thing that you may have noticed over the past couple of days is that Digg badges have started to show up on the main articles. This is to just give you the reader and idea of what others are thinking of these articles. If you find that you enjoyed an article or found it to be useful, feel free to Digg it. This will help out DCoT as it will draw more attention to the website.
Actually, just submitting the articles to Digg has made a huge difference. My page hits nearly tripled yesterday! I do not expect that this will continue but it sure was cool to watch it happen!
If you found this post useful, why don't you buy me a cup of coffee to show your gratitude?

I have a nice, nearly new Gateway laptop sleeping in the closet. Maybe time to wake up sleeping beauty and put her to work….

Thanks for the kind words. Always encourages me to keep plugging along.
