Remote Control OSX from WinXP
As I have stated in the past, I am extremely lazy. If I can do something that will save me from having to walk 5 steps, I will do it!
I was starting to feel that it was too much effort to get up from my Windows XP box and go over to my eMac which was almost 3 feet away! The results of my laziness are outlines in Remote Control Mac From Windows. You can “pull the strings” on your OSX “puppet” from your Windows box and work on the system as if you were actually at the system itself. When you completely implement this solution, it looks something like this:
I estimate that I will save 12.4 days of effort over my lifetime with this little trick. (OK. I made this number up wouldn’t it be cool if it were true?) Imagine how much time you could save if the computer was in another room, building, or country!
If you found this post useful, why don't you buy me a cup of coffee to show your gratitude?
